Is it okay to fall in love with your friend? By Sayan Roy

I am in this dilemma.
She has been a good friend,
but I can’t really say the same about me.

She was already with a guy when we became friends. 

She has this amazing ability to blend into any atmosphere but,

My oh, my one should see her when she gets comfortable. 

Even if you are antisocial, in depression, 

In pain or going through your darkest times, 

She will light up your world, make you laugh, 

talk, dance, sing, and whatnot. 

For a moment she will make you forget everything. 

She has that aura of positivity around her. 

Yes, I fell for this person. How can you not?
And I don’t want her to leave everything and just revolve around my world, 

that would be selfish of me. 

But I do want her to be my friend, keep doing what she does best. 

But few things still cross my mind. 

Is it okay to be in love with your friend? 

Will this emotion of mine be a barrier in our friendship?
