Life; out loud! By Shubham Soni

Out through the peeping hole I see,

To amble like albatross or buzz like a bee?

Out of the turmoil and glee,

I have a dream to flee,

But something is holding me back,

Fear of being on the right track?

The fear of losing my worth?

Nourished and hardened since birth,

This is the bitter truth of life,

You’ve to lose something to survive

Get up, regenerate and revive.

Everybody falls down; it’s natural,

Processing your failures is herbal.

This is the day I have come to know,

You have to burn yourself before you glow.

Everyone wants to win but only a few aim to achieve

The ones who have the courage to jump, dive and heave.

The ones who have an extreme desire

To walk fiercely through fire;

Some become ideals to aspire

Others stand out to inspire,

Then there are the ones like me

Admiring others, flipping in a cage to be free.

“Be the albatross”, reminded the bee.

Nobody bothers about the bitter truth.

Can we “unknow” it?

Maybe then we will treat time,

Strike the chord and ring the chime.
